Sinologist
I started out as a student Sinology. During this study I learned not only about the Chinese language but also about its culture, history, politics, literature and other domains.

Sinologist: Knowing all about Chinese Language and Culture.
In 2010 I started the Sinology bachelor at the Leiden University. Here I learned all about writing, speaking, understanding and reading the Chinese language. I also learned much about the immensive Chinese culture. During my bachelor I spent one year abroad, in Taiwan, on a scholarship. Here I really experienced what the Chinese culture entailed. After my bachelors I continued with a master East-Asian studies, where I learned somewhat broader about other countries in East and South-East Asia.
Teacher: Teaching Chinese Language and Culture.
After studying Chinese I decided that I would want to be a teacher. So I enrolled for the Educational Master, again at Leiden University. Here I not only learned how to be a great teacher, but also learned more about adolescent identity and pedagogy, as well as about course didactics. As part of my studies I did an internship at the Rijnlands Lyceum Wassenaar, a secondary school, where I taught Chinese to both junior and senior classes with great enjoyment.
Programmer: Learning how to program and code.
I recently started the intensive course "Full-Stack Development with JavaScript" with the B. Startup School Amsterdam (BSSA) and the New York Code + Design Academy (NYCDA). Here I learn in a short three months how to program and code. Only doing this for about a week now, I feel like I have been doing it for months and I very much enjoy the course.

Project 1: Guesthouse Website
In this project I made a business website for a Guesthouse in Ericeira, Portugal together with my classmate Ilana. The Guesthouse does not exist yet, but is a future plan. Furthermore, right now it is mainly the front-end. No working back-end yet.

In this project I made Country Information App with Node.js. With this app I can choose a country and it will print out the country name and the Top Level Domain.

In this project I created an user information app with Node.js and Pug(Jade). I created an user list, a route where you can search users, and a route to create a new user profile.
